The best time of year to apply Herbicide is?
Spring
Summer
Fall
FALL: Broadleaf weeds, such as dandelions and chickweed, all germinate in the cool, moist periods of September and October. They overwinter as small plants no larger than a quarter. The advantage of fall weed control is that the seedlings are not well-established and can be easily killed before the warm spring weather comes to propmote rapid growth. A fall treatment will knock out both annual and perennial weeds and is key to killing established perennial invaders such as dandelion and clover.

Wasps are most aggressive and likely to sting when?
Spring
Summer
Fall
FALL: In the Fall season, the queen of the hive begins preparation for hibernation and stops fertilizing eggs, which leaves no young wasps to supply the adults with the larval nectar they feed on all summer. The wasps actually need to leave the nest to find their own food, which is new to them. They are scared and very hungry, so tend to act aggressive and are easily provoked.
Is/does our product:
Safe to use around kids
Safe to use around pets
Leave no decomposing body/smell
No secondary transfer of the poison
ALL of the above are true when using our product. Our product is safe to use in your home, barn, shed, etc. The product we choose to use acts by dehydrating the target from the inside. It takes 2-3 weeks for the target to become a pile of dust that can easily be swept up and away.
Is this typical?
Yes
No
Yes - the product we spray on the hill acts on contact. The worker ants you saw covering the hill before we sprayed will have come in contact with the product and will have died. That leaves no food going back to the nest, so inside ants are being sent out to forage. Once they come into contact with the product, they too will perish, sstill leaving the enst without food coming in. The activity you see around the entrance AFTER a spray is a result of that process. Eventually, all ants will come into contact with the product as they emerge to the surface and leave the nest for food. The time it takes to kill a compete ant hill will depend, of course, on the size of the community below the hill.
